The product itself work great, I use them when I take walks and I rarely lose signal like I did before I had them. However the ear pieces are plastic, and little uncomfortable in your ears. I usually can't stand wearing them for any extended period.
Do not buy. Of course, this is not acceptable when using on the go.
I am on my fifth set. I use my Inno while running, so I require an external antenna.
This antenna fails after limited use. I can manipulate my latest pair by putting pressure by pushing the wire into the strain relief in just the right way and get signal.
I have contacted Belkin and Pinoneer customer support multiple times and neither are interested in correcting the problem or even entertaining the idea that here may be something wrong with the product. I believe the antenna wire in the cord just above the rubber strain-relief next to the connector is breaking.
This is a very poor product. I wish there was a competing manufacturer.
Belkin F5X002 Headphones with Built-in XM Antenna Improves portable reception for the Pioneer Inno and Samsung Helix portable XM radios[.].The built-in antenna was very problemmatic as it had to be pointed at the satellite and the signal faded easily. When I added these headphones, it was an amazing difference. Reception went from marginal to exceptional. The excellent built-in antenna, the in-line volume control, and the overall quality (construction and audio) make this a no-brainer for anyone who has an Inno or other portable XM radio.
It took a couple of tries to get the right antenna for my radio. evidently, there is more than one size of connector from the anntenna to the radio. after sending one back, talking to someone, and recieving another one, I am totally satisfied.
This headset did not fit my device. It is turning out to be a waste of money.
